About PC Builder

Simplifying custom PC configuration since 2025.

Our Mission

PC Builder was founded with a simple vision: to make custom PC building accessible and intuitive for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or building your first gaming rig, we believe that finding the right components shouldn't be complicated.

We provide a platform where users can explore components, verify compatibility instantly, and organize their builds in one central location. Our goal is to remove the guesswork from PC assembly and help you make informed decisions about every component in your system. Because our team is based in Vietnam and deeply familiar with the local market, we pay particular attention to part availability at Vietnamese retailers, ensuring that the recommendations you see reflect prices and stock you can actually act on.

Our Vision

We envision a future where building a custom PC is as easy as shopping online. By combining real-time component data, intelligent compatibility checking, and an intuitive interface, PC Builder empowers users to create their ideal computer configuration with confidence. We're committed to continuously improving and expanding our platform to serve the global PC building community. A key part of that vision is growing our regional pricing database to cover more Vietnamese resellers, so that every build recommendation comes with accurate, up-to-date local pricing rather than estimates imported from overseas markets.

Our Story

PC Builder was started in 2025 by a small group of technology enthusiasts in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, who were frustrated by a common problem: every time they wanted to plan a new PC build, they had to open a dozen browser tabs, manually cross-reference socket types and power limits, and then visit each Vietnamese reseller site individually just to find out whether a part was in stock and at what price. That tedious, error-prone process — made worse by the fragmented nature of the Vietnamese retail market — was the direct motivation for building PC Builder as a single, unified tool.

Since that first release in 2025, the platform has grown considerably. The component database now spans CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, PSUs, and RAM modules, all with detailed technical specifications and live reseller pricing sourced from major Vietnamese retailers. The interactive builder tool launched shortly after the initial release, allowing users to assemble complete system configurations and receive instant compatibility feedback at every step. Community suggestions submitted through GitHub and direct emails have directly shaped the product roadmap, and new features continue to ship on a regular basis as the user base expands across Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asian region.

Our Team

PC Builder is developed and maintained by a small team of software engineers and PC enthusiasts based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The team brings together a mix of full-stack development experience and hands-on hardware knowledge, which means the platform is built by people who actually use it and understand the frustrations it aims to solve. The project is open source and welcomes contributions from the broader community on GitHub. If you are passionate about PC hardware and want to help improve the platform, you are welcome to get involved.

Where We Operate

PC Builder is based in Vietnam and primarily serves users across the country and broader Southeast Asia. Vietnam has a fast-growing PC gaming and enthusiast community, and the local hardware market moves quickly — new GPU releases, reseller promotions, and stock changes happen frequently. Our component pricing data is sourced from major Vietnamese resellers such as Phong Vu, An Phat, and Nguyen Cong PC, giving users a realistic picture of what their planned build will actually cost at checkout. Expanding that regional coverage to include more resellers and additional Southeast Asian markets remains a core item on our roadmap.
